Redmi is introducing a new wearable, the Redmi Watch 5 Lite, on September 25. The smartwatch will launch in India at 12 PM local time, and today the brand has put up a teaser site for it, revealing some of its main features.

The Redmi Watch 5 Lite will have a 1.96" AMOLED display, built-in GPS, 5ATM/50m water resistance, support for taking clear calls on your wrist via Bluetooth, Amazon's Alexa built-in, and a promised 18-day battery life.

The watch will run the HyperOS skin and will let you sync your calendar, get reminders, and manage tasks from your wrist. By all accounts this is not a Wear OS device, it's most likely running some sort of proprietary OS underneath the HyperOS layer.

Anyway, everything will be officially revealed next week, so stay tuned for that.
